Application for Eco-Minds program is now open
Bayer and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) invite students from nine countries in Asia-Pacific who are highly interested in sustainable development to apply in the Eco-Minds 2007 program. The best three delegates from each country will have a chance to participate in the Regional Youth Forum to be held in Thailand during May 31 - June 3, 2007.
      In partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the program shall bring together delegates from Australia, China, Indonesia, India, Korea, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand  to gain insights into environmental and resource dynamics and to learn and share methodology of sustainability thinking through excursion and lectures from prominent local and international resource speakers. Moreover, an inter-disciplinary group-work case study will challenge delegates to seek scientific and technological solutions for sustainability.
      Not over 24 years old, an eligible applicant has to be studying in a tertiary institution (junior college, university or polytechnic). The application form and details for India, Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand is available at www.eco-minds.bayer.com
